Description Suggest change

The beautiful 4th of July Trailhead offers great hiking and climbing in the Indian Peaks below North & South Arapaho Peak, the highest mountains in the range. Pristine alpine bouldering can be found here with room for lots of establishment - both boulders and routes.

Getting There Suggest change

From Nederland: head west out of town past the high school, staying right at the junction which either goes to the small town of Eldora or up left to the resort. Staying right, drive through Eldora, and follow signs to the 4th of July Trailhead. In the summer, this 4WD road is often extremely busy, and parking staff may stop you to make sure your vehicle has the clearance to the top of the road and it’s empty enough for you to park.

The GPS coordinates for the parking are: 39°59'41"N 105°38'03"W · 1.92 miles.
