There are various entry points into the Goat Rocks Wilderness but Snowgrass Flat Trailhead is the probably the most frequented.

From Interstate 5, take Exit 68 (WA). Go EAST on U.S. Hwy 12 for ~60 miles. Before reaching the town of Packwood, turn RIGHT onto Forest Road 21. After about 12 miles turn LEFT on Forest Road 2150. Keep RIGHT at the 2150/040 split, then turn RIGHT on 2150/405 to reach the Snowgrass Flat Trailhead.

From Hood River, take 141 NORTH through White Salmon to Trout Lake. Follow NF-23 North and follow the signs toward Randle. Take Forest Road 55 and then NF-22, following signs to Packwood and Chambers Lake. A few miles after the sign for Walupt Lake and just before Hugo Lake take a hard RIGHT, and follow signs to Chambers Lake on 2150. Follow the signs to Snowgrass (Trail 96), or Berry Patch (Trail 95) just a 1/4 mile away.
