Description Suggest change

This area has a fairly easy approach. From the parking area it is mostly flat, with very little elevation gain. At the moment there are 2-3 bolted routes, and several potential crack climbs. In the spring this crag gets great shade from late morning on, which is a sweet relief on hot days. In the summer it doesn't get shade, but also doesn't get full sun, and there is a nice shade tree.  There is also good access to a spring just down the hill from the crag, which has an excellent flat staging area.

Getting There Suggest change

Parking coordinates 38.70048, 68.80122, crag coordinates 38.71029, 68.79931 Just under 1.5km

Walk uphill and north from the parking area. You will pass several houses perched on the hill, and then will pass a watering trough and a large flat area. There is a goat path that is worn more than the rest, and follows a mostly flat contour around the mountainside, and to the crag. After passing through a grove of trees, and rounding another bend in the mountain, you will head slightly downhill, and past several leaking irrigation pipes into the gorge. After finishing this decent, head about 30m uphill, hugging the right side of the canyon, until the obvious crag appears.
