Description

A beautiful section of Farol da Guia. This wall is mostly technical face climbing that features thought provoking routes and requires careful footwork and a good imagination to surmount the seamingly blank sections. These routes allow access to the ocean during the hot months, and stay temperate during colder months, due to its proximity to the sea. While this crag does not stay dry in the rain, it does dry quickly and gets full sun most of the day

Getting There

From the bottom stone stairwell to access Farol da Guia, head left past Bloco Escadas and Bloco. Just past the steep wall of Bloco is the vertical wall of smooth limestone of Alcatifa.
