Cave Lake State Park is located about 15 miles southeast of Ely. This area is home to many limestone formations of varying sizes, difficulty, and quality. There is not a lot of public information about the formations and climbs in the area as of 2021. Some formations are within the State Park itself but most are located on neighboring BLM land.

Getting There Suggest change

From Ely, travel south on Highway 50 until you reach State Highway 486 (~7 miles)

Take Highway 486 towards Cave Lake (~6 Miles)
