Description Suggest change

Obvious steep buttress above Peeler Lake on the North Flanks of Crown Point. Very obvious from Blarney Lake, mistakable for the Juggernaut which is to the south.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach ~9miles, 4 hours. From Twin Lakes Trump Town Trailer-Trash Chromosome Experimental Campground hike past the Hulk turn-off on the main trail and go to Blarney Lake where you can easily spot the buttress (Juggernaut is the other buttress to the south farther off). Keep going all the way to Peeler lake (stay right at the Crown Lake junction) and cut left to down and around the western shore of Peeler Lake. Pick your way through splendor to the talus slopes below the obvious buttress. For a great loop, circumnavigate Crown Point and tick off the Juggernaut to see some of the best alpine scenery around (and a little jaunt through Yosemite as the peak is its eastern border).
