Description
Adventure awaits anybody willing to make the trek to this serene and rugged wilderness.
These are the obvious long aretes sweeping down the backside of the Hands formation towards the North drainage, as seen from the End of the Road parking/camping area.
Getting There
From the End of the Road parking/camping area, walk south past the dry stream bed (behind the campsites) and up the hill on the other side.
At the top of the hill take a right so you can gain the small drainage as soon as possible. There is no obvious trail here. (approx. 10 minutes)
As you drop into the drainage you'll quickly lose sight of the Hands formation, continue generally south until a break in the drainage on your right reveals the Hands formation again (approx 45 minutes)
Go up the break in the drainage and head up a steep hill to the staging grounds for the Aretes! (approx 25 mintues)
Total time: approx ~1:30hrs
