Description
The Classroom is a slabby area that offers several beginner-friendly trad and sport routes. It’s an ideal place for people who are just at the beginning of their climbing journey to learn multiple disciplines of rope climbing and great and relatively safe space for climbers to transition from the gym to the outdoors. The area was first developed by Tiffany Blount, Lam Thuy Vo, Alan Prehmus, and Vani Sundaram.
Getting There
Take the Dines Meadow to the Mason Creek trail from the main/top parking lot. When the trail is about to leave the meadow and enter the thicker trees by Mason Creek, look for The Dines Cliff Climbing Access trail sign.
From the trail junction at the cliff, head downhill/right. Pass Cartoon and Lower East Side. The Classroom is around the corner from the east end of LES.
