Description
La Baie à Saguenay possède une infinité de roche granitique de première qualité. Ses trois massifs (le Champignon, FX-Garneau, et Régis Richard) sont accessible par le sentier Eucher ou par bateau. Ce sont trois parois d'aventures avec très peu de développement, mais un énorme potentiel!
La Baie, in the Saguenay region has an infinite amount of great quality granite. Its three main cliffs (le Champignon, FX-Garneau, and Regis Richard) can be accessed by the Eucher trail or by boat (easier option). These three cliffs are mostly for adventure climbing and have seen very little development until recently. They offer an immense climbing potential!

Getting There
On peut atteindre la parois du Champignon en marchant plus ou moins vingt minutes dans le sentier Eucher jusqu'à La Croix. Une fois rendu à celle-ci, il faut descendre, toujours dans le sentier et suivre le sentier des berges jusqu'à ce qu'on aperçoive la parois. Pour FX-Garneau, il faut continuer dans le sentier par la gauche, passé l'Anse à Pouliot, et remonter le gulley rocheux. Une fois au sommet, le sentier est bien balisé et a même des flags roses. Pour la parois Régis Richard, il faut continuer 5-10 minutes. Les deux massifs sont évidents, et très rocailleux.
To get to le Champignon, take the Eucher Trail for about 20 minutes until the cross, then go down the path with wooden stairs. Follow the trail for ''sentier des Berges'' but obviously don't go all the way down to the water! You will notice the cliff on your right at some point, passed the boulders. For FX-Garneau, you got to keep left twice, once 5-10 minuets after the cross, and then later when you have the option to go to the small beach to the right. Follow the rock gulley all the way to the top where you will find pink flags, some old wooden swings, and a reasonably beaten path. This trail takes you to the very obvious top of the cliff. For Régis Richard, keep going on the same trail for 5-10 minutes until you reach the other obvious summit.

En 2019, nous avons perdu accès à une magnifique parois qui se trouvait dans les environ (l'Anse à Benjamin). Ne répétons pas les mêmes erreurs....
In 2019 we lost access to a beautiful cliff in the surrounding area (l'Anse à Benjamin). Let's not make the same mistakes...
