Description
Just north of the plaza slabs is a nice tucked away chunk of rock. All routes are shorter slab routes- good for beginner leaders. Only a ten minute walk from Plaza, this is a good addition to get more routes in.
Getting There
Heading east on TCH, park just past the blue sign that says Comfort Inns but before the green sign- there is a dip in the hill on the right side that allows easy access. From the parking, you will see two sets of powerlines- one lower and one higher. The two intersect just a bit south of the parking. Head right -south- along the lower of the two powerline clearings until the intersection, then take a left and start heading north along the upper powerline clearing. The path is clear for the first bit and will meander through some brush that has been cleared out to make a trail. Keep on heading north until you reach the base of a a small boulderfield. The climbs are just at the top of the boulderfield and should be visible from the trail. Hop up to the top of the scree and start climbing! approach is 10-15 mins.
