Sector Pared Roja Frente is closed but La Cosa is open. You must register with the owners at Camping Don Jacinto.

Description

Sunny desert climbing about 1 hour from Bariloche. Has some great routes, some old loose bolts, and some solitude. Before climbing, please advise the owners of Camping Don Jacinto. They are the owners of the climbing sectors.

Getting There

Drive or take a bus to the village of Llanquin. Cross the river and go to the obvious rocks above the town. There is also a backside called La Cosa which has good climbing and more shade in the afternoon. Consult the local guidebook for details and a map.
