Description
This area is featured in the 2nd edition Arkansas Guide Book and hosts some serious exposure high above the White River.
This mile long band of rock sits roughly 200ft tall and is capped with a bomber band of sandstone. There are a few new moderate additions to the area as well as some bouldering! Although separate from other climbing in the state, this area offers a unique climbing experience and offers a break from the crowds.
The guide book mentions no near stores and not a lot to offer in the area, but as of now there is a new gear store (Norfork Adventure Supply) and brewery/liquor store in Norfork, AR (16 miles) and several new places in near by Calico Rock to grab good food and drink.
Getting There
Turn on to Culp Rd roughly 1.5 miles after the bridge crossing the white river(from Calico Rock). Follow the good ol dirt road for 2 or 3 miles and park at the area with boulder barricade/black sign on the right. Follow the casual trail to the left of the over look to access the lower levels of the bluff.
