Description

This one of Utah's newest and most popular state parks. This park offers the best legal cliff jumping in the Southwest Utah area. Due to cliff jumping is being legal in the park DWS (Deep water solo) is also legal providing for a very unique situation for climbers. There are DWS climbs ranging from easy to impossibly hard so all climbers will have a chalge. The rock quality is good, just be on the lookout for people jumping over you while you are climbing. The park can get busy on weekends especially in the peak summer months, but on the weekdays it tends to not be so crowded. There is a $15 per vehicle fee if you are a Utah resident. Non-Utah residents must pay a $20 per vehicle fee in order to enter the park.

Getting There

Enter the park from the main gate entrance off of S Sand Hollow Rd. Once you are in the park drive straight up the hill to the back of the main parking lot (park back here). There is a warning sign about the cliffs and cliff jumping (note that the park is not responsible for any injury or death). Follow north the edge of the lake until you see the clifts, there will almost always be other people jumping. If you have any trouble finding the area just simply ask someone where the cliff jumping is and there will point you in the right direction.
