Description

Parking can be tricky as this is a popular sightseeing area. The approach from the parking lot to the first rap station takes about 2 minutes. To get to the beginning of the routes, you have to do a classic Verdon approach: rappels! However, you have to send to get back to your car (or you can swim / jump on a boat).

R1: 100 feet. From the parking lot, go down the path and you will quickly reach the first rap station to your right (skier's right). You will reach the next rap station, which is on P4 of Adieu Zidane.

R2: 150 feet. "No feet" rappel with amazing views on the Gorge, the lake of Sainte Croix and the bridge. Climbing anything on Galetas is worth it just for this rap. You will reach the third rap station, which is on P1 of Adieu Zidane.

R3: 100 feet. This rap takes you all the way to the start.

Getting There

From Palud-sur-Verdon, this is the first pull over after you see the lake de Sainte Croix and the bridge. From Moustiers, this is the first pull over after you enter the gorge.
