Description
Vallée du Bras-du-Nord is an amazing climbing area. It contains the some of the finest rock in the province of Quebec for both sport climbing (Sanatorium) AND trad climbing (Gros Bonet).
It is also the home of the coop vallée bras du nord, a great place for hiking and mountain biking.
Most of the climbing is located in the zec batiscan, bring some cash to pay the zec fee or pay on their website while you still have some network connection.
Getting There
From the West, on highway 40, exit Pont-Rouge, then Saint-Raymond.
From the East, on highway 40, exit Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, then Saint-Raymond.
At Saint-Raymond, cross the river, turn right and follow the road for 4.6 km, then turn left on the Rang Saguenay.
Follow Rang Saguenay for about 20 km, you are in the valley!
