Description
It is mostly sunny, if they day is windy you can feel a strong wind because of the altitude just watch the weather. Access is very easy, you can do some routes by top-rope by climbing at the top of the routes to setup your rope but only if there is a path. Sometimes its more tricky you'll have to make a detour or climb a little bit to reach the top, but sometimes it's just not doable to put your rope first and will have to climb the route by lead. (30% of the routes can be top-rope the rest is lead)
I think La Buda should be listed as its own subarea under Guanajuato
Getting There
From the center of the city, Guanajuato. You have to go towards la Presa and get on the Panoramica Road and drive up until you find Camino a la Cueva de San Ignacio. You can drive up all the way to the climbing zone, it's kinda tricky but still drivable. It is recommended to have a car that is good for rocky roads or you can always walk from the start of the path.
There are other ways to reach the Panoramica road but the most common is to past from the center of the city:
El Cerro de La Bufa - Google Maps (There is the exact location of the climbing area to look on google maps)
Once you reach the parking area, you will see a sign that you have arrived to the climbing area and there are 2 paths to climb higher for the other routes. There are some routes before going trough the two paths but the most interesting part is on both side of the mountain, there are a lot of available routes.
