Description Suggest change

The South Face of Chiefshead is home to the South Spur and South Ramp. Also found here are several single and multipitch crack climbs located in the crag above Snowbank Lake. This crag makes a good alternative when the weather isn't sufficient for the larger objectives in the valley.

Getting There Suggest change

Leave from the main Wild Basin Trailhead, heading to Thunder Lake. Before reaching Thunder Lake at 4.8 miles turn right and on to Lion Lake #1. At Snowbank Lake, The Snowbank Crags are located directly above. The South Ramp and South Spur are just West of the Snowbank Crags.
