Description Suggest change

This is a very climbable boulder with potential for many problems! The landings here aren't as great, it will need to be properly cleared in the future. The rock is all super solid, and the right face (if approaching from the bottom of the hill) has an awesome flake that is iron tough! This makes for fun and easier climbs in the area. This boulder faces afternoon sun in the winter, which is quite nice, and should be shady when summer comes around (we'll see!).

Feel free to add more problems to this boulder! The rock is much more featured than the other rock on Opal Hill, which makes for awesome holds, they are also more on the gritty side and are a conglomerate mix. Enjoy!

The name isn't suggestive of the rock quality, it was just super muddy when I was sending some routes!

Getting There Suggest change

Pass 'Opal Hill First', and continue up the hill on the footpaths that begin to take shape. It is right before 'Maiden Voyage' and 'Mammoth' boulders.
