Description Suggest change

This pyramidal shaped rock rises from the shoreline and offers exciting climbing opportunities on poor quality sandstone with hard yet brittle dikes prone to breakage; tread lightly and be extra careful whilst seaside chossaineering!

No fixed anchors and not much in the way of protection exists other than tossing a rope or sling around the top.

Climbs here are typically vague and wandering easy 3rd to low 5th class adventures that seek out the easier moves and, if possible, better quality rock - more like seaside mountaineering than rock climbing.

Getting There Suggest change

Park in the cliff top parking lot and hike the steep trail down to the beach and then along the shore to the rock, which is visible on the approach.
