Caver's Boulder

New Hampshire > Rumney > Rumney Bouldering > Black Jack Boul… > Entrance Boulders

Description

This boulder is easily recognizable by its wave-like overhang and the cave created between itself and the adjacent block. This boulder provides a few hard classic lowballs and a handful of good moderates.

Getting There

This is one of the first boulders seen on the right side when walking through the Black Jacks.

Follow Short Cut Trail past Bonsai and Monsters From the Id until you come face-to-face with a giant house-sized boulder. This large boulder is Bobby's Boulder. Walk around the left side of this giant block then cut right on the trail keeping Bobby's Boulder on your right. This cave is found on the downhill side of Bobby's Boulder.
