Description Suggest change

The Bow Falls area is easily seen from the road and features a number of relatively safe, accessible, and early forming ice and mixed routes. The main attraction is Bow Falls itself, a high flow waterfall fed by the glacier above.

Getting There Suggest change

From the park gates after turning from Hwy 1 north to Hwy 93 N drive 34.5km to a left turned for Bow Glacier (signed) and park in the parking lot. You will be able to see Bow Falls in the distance to the Southwest. If the lake is frozen solid you can walk directly across it towards the falls, otherwise follow a signed trail along the edge of the lake until you come to the moraine below the cirque containing the falls. 1 to 2 hours for the approach depending on conditions.
