Description
A nice addition to the neighborhood. This crag has a lot of interesting rock features that make for fun climbing. Climbs are about 80' long. The views are amazing!
Getting There
The approach is .6 miles and takes about 25 minutes. Park on the west side of Rt 16 (small pull off) opposite the NW corner of Wildcat Ski Area parking lot. Follow a climber's trail west up a small drainage (usually dry) for 900' until you reach Connies Way Ski Trail.
(Solstice Crag goes straight across the ski trail (cairns)and is reached in 150 yards.)
Go north (right) on the ski trail for .4 miles passing many small rock outcrops. 100' before reaching the first major crag by the trail C Lot, take a left (cairns) and follow a climbers path for 100 yards. A full day can easily be had by combining Circle Crag with Connies, C Lot, Wild Kitten and Solstice Crags
