Description Suggest change

Eagle's Peak is the North most summit of the three peaks West of USAFA. The peak is known for its prominent cliff face and Cadets frequently use the trail. Robert Ormes “Guide to the Colorado Mountains” (1973) lists the mountain as "North Peak" but the name "Eagle's Peak" has been widely adopted.

Getting There Suggest change

All climbing areas on Eagle’s Peak are accessible from the Eagle’s Peak trail (Goat Camp Creek trail). The trailhead is directly west of the USAFA Visitor’s Center.

A .gpx file with the trail is posted.
