Fruita is located in the heart of Capitol Reef National Park. Fruita is abundant in history and offers opportunities to experience amazing geology, development and exploration of a diverse landscape. Camping is available in town as well as access to the Scenic Drive and multiple well-establish hikes off highway 24.  

This area contains climbing and bouldering accessed from the town of Fruita. A large collection of routes and bouldering listed here can be found along the Capitol Reef Scenic Drive through the Grand Wash.
