Description
A very quiet and quaint area in the White Canyon complex. A low-technical, fairly tame hike with interesting and beautiful slot canyons. This is a seldom visited area in a rather remote part of the desert.
Sand, scrambling, a few short rappels, and a fair amount of moderate down-climbing make this an arduous adventure just in itself to get to the Cheesebox. Expect variable conditions in this area. The approach can be very wet and cold or terribly hot and dry!
Warning: This area has an can experience flash floods. Check the local news sources and follow the weather before attempting.
