Description Suggest change

Once ice has frozen from the mainland to the island, you can cross over. On the Northside of the island, you will find a lot of ice created from the waves of Lake Superior freezing. Most of the climbs are 15-20 feet. However, there is one longer stepped climb.

Getting There Suggest change

Head north on 550 from Marquette. Access point is Little Presque Isle, which has a large DNR trailhead sign.
