Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.
Description
Dines Amphitheater is a 25 yard section of the cliff bounded by large corners on each side. The center of the amphitheater is overhung at the base. The upper/left side corner is rotten rock with no routes. The routes are all bolted and range from 5.8 to 5.11c/d.
Getting There
From the Meadow parking lot trailhead, take the Dines Meadow trail to the Mason Creek (MC) trail. Turn left/up hill on MC. After several hundred yards, find the Dines Climbing Access Trail sigh on the left. Walk the access trail up to the cliff. When the trail meets the cliff, turn left/up hill. After 40 yards, the trail passes under the Amphitheater. Stay on the trail until a distinct branch cuts sharply right to the base of the routes.
