Description Suggest change

North east facing crag about a 1/4 mile below the yankee fork confluence of the salmon river, 12 miles north of Stanley Idaho. The crag is on the right bank of the river so some form of water craft is needed for the approach.

Getting There Suggest change

I usually put my raft in the water at the yankee fork boat ramp for the 5 minute float to the crag. It is easily spotted from the highway and bolts and anchors should be visible. To leave I have been floating about half a mile to the elk creek boat ramp. Mostly flat water with a short section of class 2. Pull into an eddy behind some rocks at the base of the cliff, tie your boat off and hike steep loose terrain for a couple minutes to the base of the climbs.
