Description
A Mecca for viewing the huge assortment of wild flowers and enjoying the cool mountain air above the Valley. As mentioned elsewhere, the alpine granite in the Brighton area is high quality. The routes are short, so dig out your old 50m rope and that should work fine for climbing and lowering.
The all inclusive and detailed Ruckman Wasatch Guide (page 194-195) does briefly mention the many climbing options available that the Alpenbockers took advantage of in "Brighton Bowl" and "Shiva Wall". These pages mostly mention the cracks found in the area now dubbed "Brighton's Frighton" Wall and the east facing dihedrals and crack systems up high in the cirque. Unfortunately, most of the climbing history data and route names were poorly recorded and has been lost.
With this Trad History of the area in mind, most climbs will still require some gear for protection. Please leave the decades old fixed pitons in place.

Getting There
Park up in the Brighton Ski Area Parking Lot at the base of the Millicent Lift. Hike up the steep dirt road. Where the road meets Twin Lakes Reservoir, a foot/bike path vears off to the left (East). In just a few minutes, you will pass underneath the Devil's Dip Wall (named after the Brighton Ski Run just before the wall. Continue on the path for a short distance and the Crag is immediately beneath the Millicent Chair Lift and below Tower 12. The rad local Brighton boarders call this cliff “Killer”!
