Description Suggest change

Hidden behind a veritable sea of alders, this boulder is difficult to locate but features some of the best problems of the area. The boulder is tall and the landings are less than ideal. Bring a lot of pads and a lot of friends.

Getting There Suggest change

This boulder is found on the immediate opposite side of the thicket of alder trees which line the Byron Glacier approach trail, in a clearing on the hill side. There are a few ways of approaching the boulder. You can either follow the streams at either bridge through the thickets of alder to the other side, or locate the "obvious once you've seen it" opening in the alders which is just before the first bridge. Either way, after you traverse through a path of least resistance through the alders you will find yourself in a clearing. Turn north (right) and back track, passing through a couple clearings before coming to the Bliss boulder.
