Description
Nice little crag on the far left end of the rest stop cliffs, easily identified by a tree leaning on a beautiful piece of overhanging granite. Home to a few shorter, but quality climbs, this crag is a fun day outing that would benefit greatly from some additional traffic. Most of the climbs can be toproped very easily by walking around the left side of the crag.
The vertical face with the cracks is north facing and only sees a bit of sun at the end of the day in mid-summer. The overhanging face is east-facing with morning sun, but there are large trees shading the majority of the wall.
Getting There
Approach as for Strawberry Wall and the other Rest Stop Cliffs, but after the slab stay low in the forest on a dirt path that takes you all the way to the wall. The Leaning Tree wall is on the leftmost (southern) end of the cliff band, easily identified by a tree leaning on the steepest face.
