Description Suggest change

South- and southeast-facing slopes of typical Alsation pink sandstone. Can be crowded because the closest parking is the Gimbelhof, a family-style restaurant popular on weekends. It's also a reputed area for promenades and dayhikes.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive towards Haguenau, then Lembach. (D27 Woerth > Lembach or D263 Soultz-sous-forêt> D51 >D65 Lembach) Pass Lembach, then at the cmapsite turn right towards "Gimbelhof". From tthe parking, Krappenfels is visible, but the approach can be steep on some parts.
