Description
This 10-12' boulder is a fun place to visit if you live nearby. It has quality stone and quality problems. There are also 10 distinct lines on one boulder, which is great if you're looking for easy, fun mileage. They are all V2 or under and are all pure sit starts, not bad for a single block. IT is great for a solo sesh with a single pad.
Getting There
Deer Hill is an isolated part of the Fells. The best way to get there is to enter via Pickerel Rock Trail from Fellsway West. Walk along a dirty trail parallel to the highway to get to this strange place on the shores of Spot Pond. The boulder can be clearly seen on the left side of the trail. The map location is approximate.
