There is the endangered American Hart's Tongue Fern along the talus slopes abutting Glacier Lake, and this shouldn't be an area that is climbable. State Park officials are fine with climbing around the smaller Frost Pocket Lake, including Lake Gulley and the Main Wall, but they are very against the development of other areas. They have gone as far as to say that they will not allow climbing in the park at all. Please respect nature and the future of climbing here and refrain from any development outside the currently existing areas.
Description
Exposed climbing with a variety of rock types and difficulties, including a very good stand-alone boulder and shale-style lips that can be found elsewhere in the park. Currently under development, but the potential is very good. The buttress on the left is Left Wall, buttress on the right is Right wall, and the boulder laying by Right Wall is Flying Whale Boulder.
Please be aware of the moss! Lake Gulley has a lot of beautiful moss, please try to avoid destroying it at all costs! Mind your feet, don't clean holds you don't need, just respect nature.
