Description

A shorter thumb shaped boulder on the south end of the main area.

Getting There

To reach the main area, go south on the ATV trail until you get to a point that you would not feel a truck could easily make it down because of some large rocks on the trail. (Approx 0.3 mile) The ATV trail here also makes a turn to the west.

There is usually a cairn marking the entrance. Go left into a drainage wash/faint trail south. The first boulders are about 20 yards off the ATV trail.

The Hitchhiker's Thumb is on the southern end of the main area, about 200 yards south from where you leave the ATV trail.
