Getting There
From the mouse hole take the dirt road west. If it's gated, approach from the parking lot.
Alternative approach directions: Make your way to Truckee Crossroads off Highway 89 (more commonly known as the location of Save Mart Supermarket). Walk to the south corner of the parking lot (behind the O'Reilly Auto Parts store). Find a trail that leads away from highway 89 and the parking lot. Follow the trail, past the hobo camps, for about 10 minutes. Most of the boulders are adjacent to the trail.
