Boston Peak

Washington > Northwest Region > Hwy 20 & N Casc… > N Cascades > Boston Basin

Description

Boston stands as a chossy sentinel; it has a long history of early climbs by surveyors and the like. It is proud as well as intimidating. The primary challenge is the questionable quality of the rock.

Getting There

In between sharkfin and sahale. How you approach the mountain will be determined by the selected route.

[Hide Comment] The standard route up Boston Peak is 4th class up its East Face and requires rappelling on the way down. The entire mountain has a reputation for being very loose. This is absolutely not a climb I'd recommend for beginners. Jul 13, 2021
