Description
Leominster Ice Quarry is a sunny, East-facing quarry high on the Monoosnuc Ridge in the west side of Leominster. Easy access and a nice vista make it a great place to climb when the sun has been absent for several days allowing the ice to build.
Bring long slings or a static rope for anchors as the trees are a ways back from the edge. The crag gets a lot of sun and can get baked of pretty quickly on warm days. Ideal conditions tend to be cloudy days after a heavy snow.

Getting There
Park on the shoulder at the end of Exchange St. by the access for the water treatment facility. Take Public Trail past the facility (no dogs) to a split in the Trail. Stay right then left at the next split. Keep hiking uphill on the wide trail till you can see the quarry in the right. It takes about 15-20 minutes in light snow.
