Secret Crag

Michigan > Upper Peninsula > Marquette (and… > Big Bay

Description

Wall looks like a tidal wave of black and while stripes. Routes routes are shorter but pack a punch, bring your try hard.

Getting There

Head towards Triple A wall. When that approach cuts into the woods, stay on the road around the curve and THEN follow the gravel/stones west into the woods. Wall will be visible on the right. Drive past the approach trail to find a small pulloff that'll fit 2-3 cars.
46.77265865569755, -87.77587399665146 is the start of the westward gravel road.

You can usually just see the crag through the trees in both summer and fall. This is the short hike from the road where you park.

[Hide Comment] Not very dirty, but still loose rock on all the routes. Wear your helmet for sure. Wave wall stays dry after light rain. Wasp wall does not/seeps. May 22, 2023
