Description
This vast area of amazing Rhyolite formations appears to be almost completely undeveloped. The area has great camping with easy access to tons of rock located in Coronado National Forest.
The only record I've found of climbers visiting the area is in the 2013 AAJ, Mark Wilford and Mark Richey's ascent of Cathedral Rock. Mark Richey wrote, "The area has seen very limited activity but does hold significant potential, with many other freestanding towers and big faces within easy access of the park roads."
