Description
The Radium Highway is where you'll find some very popular venues, including Boom Lake, Storm Creek Headwall, The Stanley Headwall, Marble Canyon, and Haffner Creek. These areas are actually in Kootenay National Park, British Columbia.
Getting There
Drive north from Banff on Hwy 1 for about 30 minutes and take the Hwy 93 exit at Castle Junction. Turn left on 93 and after a few minutes watch for Boom Lake on the right. a few minutes later, watch for the Stanley Glacier parking lot on the left. From this lot you can access both the Storm Creek Headwall and The Stanley Headwall. Haffner Creek is another few minutes down the road.
