These routes are generally lower-angle, and of a different flavor than the areas in the lower valley. Though the routes may be of a slightly lower-quality, they feel substantially more "alpine" and are certainly worthy of your psyche. The looong ridge that goes from the summit all the way down below the lake has yet to be climbed to my knowledge.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike 0.5 mile past Coolidge and veer up and right (south). Easy boulder hopping and off-trail hiking get you to the gorgeous lake at the base.
