Description
Trout Climbing in America is an obvious, east-facing, roadside, limestone crag at the junction of US Hwy 285 and County Roads 307 and 309, near the top of Trout Creek Pass. The rock is good, and access is easy. Park across US 285 in the obvious paved parking area south of the bridge.
Getting There
From the Front Range, drive US 285 south over the top of Trout Creek Pass and down toward the end of Chubb Park where there's a log house high on the east side of US 285. The crag is on the west side of US 285 and is obvious. From Buena Vista, drive toward the top of Trout Creek Pass on US 285 until you see the crag on your left/west.
