Description
Sitting about 1,000 feet to the east of Pinnacle Peak along the same ridgeline, Castle Pinnacle has minor prominence but nonetheless is an aesthetic feature with some fun climbing and scrambling.
Getting There
Castle Pinnacle has several methods of access, depending on the objective. All aspects are generally accessed from the main MRNP corridor to the north, with parking along Stevens Canyon road at Narada Falls (winter) and Reflection Lake in the summer. Routes on the SW-SE aspects are most easily approached via the Pinnacle Peak Trail, and then contouring across Pinnacle's south face scree field at around 6,000-6,200 ft, but can also be approached from the east via the ridge leading to Foss Peak (often done on a Tatoosh Traverse). The north face of the peak can be accessed directly from Stevens Canyon Road.
