Description Suggest change

This central region of Italy is home to the cities of Florence and Pisa as well as lots of sun, wine and delicious food. It also has around 80 established climbing areas. A large concentration of of them are are in the north-west but there are a few scattered throughout. Areas range from long multi-pitch alpine and bolted routes to short clip-ups at roadside crags. The rock is predominantly limestone and volume and variety are stunning.

Getting There Suggest change

It is roughly a 3-4 hour drive from the airports in either Rome or Milan depending on where you are going. Or you can fly into Florence. The areas are spread out so a car is nice.
