Description
The rock is limestone, less than vertical with a max height of 100 ft. Most routes are bolted though there are some pitons. All the routes have two bold anchors but most don't have rap rings. There are a few 2 pitch climbs.
What this crag lacks in grandeur and grades it makes up for in proximity and privacy. To be on a lightly trafficked nature reserve with rock-climbing just 20 minutes away from downtown Fes, that is something special. There is a shaded area on the west end of the crag where you can cool off between climbs and its also a great place for picnics and hammocks. The crag is south facing and you will have direct sun for most of the day. The left side stays in the shade longer in the morning and the right side will get the shade earlier in the afternoon.
