Description
A great cliff for beginner and intermediate climbers. The rock is generally good quality basalt. Most of the climbs are in the 5.5-5.9 range with a few 5.10's at the moment. There is a decent amount of trad climbing to be done at the crag as well! The cliff is directly in front of Gohar's house. She is a lovely lady and is very welcoming to climbers. Although she is usually only there in the summer time. Luca Keushguerian (same name on MP) also has keys to the house and is willing to make arrangements if people want to stay there overnight (house has running water, fridge, and a bathroom, etc.) Being at a higher elevation from the city of Yerevan it is much cooler and a wonderful escape from the hectic city life.
This cliff gets mid-morning to afternoon sun.

Getting There
From Yerevan take the freeway towards Lake Sevan. Take the Hrazdan exit then drive toward the village of kaghsi. Drive approximately 1.5km down the road until you take a sharp left hand turn with a speed bump which brings you down into the valley (you'll be able to see the cliff at that point.) Go over the train tracks and over a bridge. Then take the first left that goes down a dirt road. Trend right until you see the obvious cliff on your right.
