Description
This area is located high up above Mammoth Lakes. The problems are located on boulder scattered around the edge of the talus field. The standout problem is Morpheus, one of the areas high ball's, but there are a number of good problems that makes the trek up high well worth it.
Getting There
From the Emerald Lake parking lot hike up the trail for 1/2 mile and then turn right and follow the Lake Barrett trail. Just under a mile you will cross a small stream on the trail, shortly after this look for a faint trail up the hill on the left. Take this trail and follow the old mining road up for another 1/2 mile. This will get you to Way Lake and the Lower Meadow. Continue on for 400 yards skirting a pond (sometimes wet and sometimes dry) on the right. Head towards a large overhung block with an obvious crack left of center (Morpheus).
