Description
Mount Morgan North is the grey, red and white peak visible from highway 395 about 15 minutes south of Mammoth Lakes. It's one drainage south of Convict Lake, accessed via Crowley Lake Drive.
Getting There
From Mammoth Lakes take Highway 395 south towards Crowley Lake. Turn right onto Crowley Lake drive. At the stop sign turn on to McGee Creek Road, take this for ~3 miles, passing a campground on the left and dead ending at the McGee Creek pack station. Parking can be found about a quarter mile before the pack station. From the parking, cross the creek on the left hand side of the road and head up to Morgan.
