Description Suggest change

Inca Wakanka is one of the newest sport climbing additions to Peru and has a new guidebook in the works! With around 100 routes at the time of writing, it seeks to rival Hatun Machay. The walls vary greatly from steep and overhanging to slabby and technical.

The camping is currently free and has a compost pit and pit toilets. There is also water available at the camping. Do not leave food in your tents or around the campsite as the dogs will eat through your tent to reach your food. Leave no trace, pack out your trash, and be nice to the farm animals nearby. Be aware that you are basically camping in the backyard of the adjacent house.

If you need supplies you can ride about 5-10 minutes back to Conacocha.

To leave by bus simply wait at the bend for the next combi. The price back to Conacocha at the time of writing was one sol.
